Each Thursday in April, VR/AR@MIT is hosting a new speaker, group, and/or theme. This week we are hosting Prof. Duncan Irschick at the VR Studio in 9-152.
Photogrammatry with Duncan Irschick
Prof. Duncan Irschick from UMass Amherst will demonstrate how he uses arrays of cameras to capture highly detailed 3D models of live animals. Read more about the project.
Prof. Irschick will show the technique using a live animal (small reptile), and participants in the workshop will replicate the process for objects of their choice.
